The\u00a0Swiss Sherpa Foundation supports Sherpas and other mountain\u00a0people with purposeful\u00a0training programs and infrastructure projects to facilitate\u00a0a\u00a0sustainable independance. The principal activity shall be in mounain regions in which Outdoor activities like mountaineering and trekking can or\u00a0may contribute to an economic development.<\/p>\n
The foundation furthermore aims to achieve the support of Sherpas and other mountain people and their family members which are in an emergency situation.<\/p>\n
The foundation can also engage in charitable institutions or projects which correspond to the mission of the foundation.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Swiss-Sherpa Foundation is under the federal foundation supervision. She has a charitable\u00a0character\u00a0and does aim for pecuniary reward or benefit.<\/p>\n
