Moungain guide education for\u00a0Sherpas<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A first project was organized together with the International Federation of Mountain Guide Associatoins (IFMGA).\u00a0More then ten Sherpas were trained in Switzerland and in France to become International acknowledged mountain guides. In\u00a02012 this lead to the foundation of the National Nepal Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA).<\/p>\n

Today the\u00a0National Nepal Mountain Guide Association\u00a0can organize their own mountain guide courses in Nepal. Experts financed by the Swiss Sherpa Foundation are attending the courses from time to time.<\/p>\n

Background:<\/strong>
\nAs an approved mountan guide, Patrick\u00a0Z\u2019Brun wanted to enable the Sherpas the education to international approved mountain guides so in the future they could benefit better in expeditions and trekkings.<\/p>\n
