Objective of  the project

Financial support to the training of Helicopter rescue specialists in the Himalaya region in cooperation with Air Zermatt and the ARF (Alpine Rescue Foundation)

In the mean time, seven Sherpas have been trained to become Helicopter rescue specialists at the rescue courses of the canton Valais. Tshering Pande Bhote, one of the participants of these courses, has been assigned as technical director of the Nepal Mountain Guide Association.
